Yogvendra Grewal lives with his mom, Biji, in a joint family consisting of his daughter, Sahiba; his brothers Sharan, Pritam, and Ronak; Sharan's wife, Sweety; Pritam's wife, Monica; and their respective children. Sahiba is of marriageable age and the family, especially Biji, would like her to get married. But Sahiba is just not ready to get married and runs away from home. Lost and alone, she witnesses a murder being committed and flees straight into the arms of an army captain Karan Khanna, who escorts her back home. Everyone thinks that Karan is here to get married to Sahiba, and he is welcomed and treated as one of the family. Only Sahiba knows that Karan has a sweetheart in Nisha, who is waiting for his return to get married to him. The family are disappointed when they find out that Karan is meant for someone else, and quickly arrange for Sahiba's marriage with Vicky Singhal, the only son of Rai Bahadur Tejeshwar. Sahiba, who has given her heart to Karan, reluctantly agrees to this marriage, only to find out that the person she is marrying is none other than the person she had seen killing a woman. She tells this to her family, but nobody believes her and it looks like Sahiba's fate is sealed with that of a killer, who may well make her his next target.
